How Security Block Work
Some devices use security blocks, a security block can be set up at different levels:
- At the internet service provider level
- At the operating system level
- At the browser or software level
The purpose of cyber security blocks is to provide an alert when a website is under a certain level of threat. Every security block has different threat levels and settings that distinguish between acceptable and unacceptable levels of threat. These are generally managed by the organization (the IT team) or personally.
Outlook's Security block
The outlook software has a security block that indicates, according to device settings, which websites render a threat according to parameters that may differ between devices and organizations (as set by the IT team).
If the device is blocked on a very large number of occasions this is due to its settings and Outlook recommends seeking help from an IT professional within the organization so that they may remove the blocks:
Recommended Ways for Handling Removals
Generally speaking, you may add to the email's content text informing the customer that they can remove themselves by replying to the email. In this way, it will be possible for the customer to remove themselves from your mailing list even if they cannot get the unsubscribe link to work.
